Our Story
Buckeye Electrical Services was founded by Mike Krechting, a Master Electrician with decades of hands-on experience across every sector of the electrical trade. Mike’s career began immediately after high school and trade school, wiring homes, apartments, and condominiums before expanding into commercial and industrial electrical work. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed projects of all sizes, from small tenant build-outs to multi-million-dollar commercial and multi-family developments. His extensive field experience, combined with leadership roles in project management, estimating, and service department operations, allows him to bring a comprehensive and knowledgeable approach to every project Buckeye Electrical Services undertakes.
Mike earned his Master Electrical EC License in 2025, turning a lifelong passion for the electrical industry into his own business venture. His background includes overseeing large commercial construction projects, managing service divisions, performing advanced troubleshooting, and coordinating complex design-build electrical systems. With strong expertise in construction management, blueprint interpretation, estimating software, and field operations, he has built a reputation for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
